Blue Moon = Amazing!!!
I have just finished the follow up to Evermore and I can promise that it is just as amazing as the first! I read it in one day as I just not put it down!
I love the timeless story of love between Damen and Ever that Alyson Noel creates and she does not fail to follow through with Blue Moon.
It starts off with Ever and Damen so in love after the many centuries that he has being trying to save her and it finally seems that they are together. But it seems all is not right with the arrival of a new boy who threatens their love in a way you can never imagine. With this comes a whole new set of mysteries and revelations and Ever has to make a decision that effects the rest of her life...
With all the magic of the first book with the manifestation of the tulips (a symbol of their undying love), as well as progress in the land of Summerland and other characters including the return of the Psychic Ava, the book is even better than the first.
Having already gone through Ever and Damens heartbreaking Romeo and Juliet story, this book makes it even more powerful when that love is threatened. There are so many moments where I could feel Ever's pain and could imagine if I was in her situation how I would keep it together.
And with an ending that shocks, the question that comes to mind is can love conquer all?
Read it and see, I can not wait for the follow up - Shadowland, out in July which I have already pre ordered!

Once in a Blue Moon
Well, as for my experience with sequels, this cam as a suprise! I was delighted! A whole new plot that leaves you on the edge of your seat and never putting the book down. However, I would have liked to see more of the other side characters' goings on in the book just like in the first book, Evermore. But, if there was nothing going on with them to do with the plot than I suppose that can't be helped. Overall, this was a good read. Bring on the next edition!
way better than the first
This is the second in the Immortals series, and this was a MUCH better book than the first one.
Alyson Noel the author is obviously getting in the swing of things this time round as this one was so much better than the first book.
I liked the characters of Ever and Damon a lot more in this one. The blurb doesnt really give an accurate description in my mind as it does differ from it in a way but I actually think what she did with the story on this one was very good. The bad guy really was a very bad guy and such a cliffhanger type of ending to the book, I will be eagering awaiting the 3rd book in the series "Shadowland" which will be out in July.
The only disappointing thing for me in this book was that her sister Riley was hardly in it and she was my favourite from the first one.
So if you didnt think a lot of the first one like myself, don't give up because it does get better! I definately recommend this.
8/10
